The 2013 California Mechanical Code (California Code of Regulations Title 24, Part
4 including all state-adopted Appendices), is hereby adopted as the Mechanical Code
of the City of Colusa for the safeguarding of life or limb, health, property and public
welfare by regulating and controlling the design, construction, installation, quality
of materials, location, operation, and maintenance or use of heating, ventilating,
cooling, refrigeration systems, incinerators and other miscellaneous heat-producing
appliances within the city of Colusa, California; providing for the issuance of permits
and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions,
penalties, conditions and terms of said mechanical code on file in the office of the
city clerk are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set
out in this chapter.
