§ 14-4. Franchise regulations.

(a)

The city council may enter into franchise agreements for the collection, processing and/or disposal of solid waste, recyclable materials, green waste and other materials collected from residential, commercial and industrial premises within city. these franchises may be exclusive or nonexclusive in nature.

(b)

Collection and removal of solid waste, recyclable materials, green waste and/or other materials by a franchisee shall be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of this article and any agreement between the city and the franchisee.
