§ 21.5.04. Cannabis manufacturing facilities.

  • Cannabis manufacturing facilities permitted under this chapter include facilities where cannabis is manufactured into cannabis products, tested, and distributed, and may also include the associated activities of planting, growing, harvesting, trimming and grading, and transporting, that holds a valid cannabis manufacturing special use permit pursuant to this article, and a regulatory permit as required by this Code, subject to the provisions of the Compassionate Use Act of 1996 (California Health and Safety Code Section 11362.5), the Medical Marijuana Program Act (California Health and Safety Code Sections 11362.7 through 11362.83), the California Attorney General's Guidelines for the Security and Non-Diversion of Marijuana Grown for Medical Use issued in August, 2008, the Medical Marijuana Regulation and Safety Act (AB 243, AB 266, and SB 643), and all statutes and regulations promulgated to implement the AMUA, and any other state laws pertaining to cultivating cannabis.
